Round Dance

Also known as Choreographed Ballroom, Round Dance is a very fun style of dance.  The dance styles are the same as Ballroom ~ Waltz, Cha Cha, etc, but the dance is choreographed so that you can learn a whole routine in only a few weeks.  Dance moves are called out just before you dance them, so no memorizing is required.

Round Dance adds a neat element that typical ballroom dancing does not: since the dance is pre-choreographed, you are able to do moves that are perfectly timed to different elements in the music.  If the music swells and slows briefly, then a dance step that rises and stretches is put into that place. If there is a syncopation or quick break in another part of the song, then aquick or holding step is taught.

We are only teaching Advanced levels of round dancing, as you will learn the beginning levels most quickly in the ballroom program.  Send us an email if you have any questions.
